We were invited into school to see Lucy receive her award from Mrs Carpenter, the Head Teacher. She said Lucy was amazing, a wonderful person, very deserving of the award and such a delight to have in school. Lucy is a fantastic ambassador for the school in everything she does. She has risen to the challenge of Y6 and is such a hard worker. Also, Lucy is kind, caring and a wonderful friend to all. We are super proud of Lucy 🥰
CP 1 today – surprisingly the girls are looking quite chirpy (although that chirpy birdie tells me they actually loved it at the campsite last night! Especially the girls v boys football! ⚽️ And a dare to see how many people can get in Charlottes tent?! Apparently 14. I asked no more questions…! 🙈)They were pushing on through after lunch at this point…Crossing the finishing line! 👏🏻 Super proud of all the girls! Smashed it! 🙌🏻
The girls were happily singing on the way to Leicestershire for their bronze DofE expedition – not sure it will be the same when we collect them tomorrow! Backpacks almost as big as them! Checkpoint restThey made it to the top of Old John Tower too! Day 1 achieved and onto the campsite.
